How to Create a Post in Pollen
Creating content in Pollen is quick and intuitive. Whether you're posting to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or more, this guide will walk you through each step.
Step 1: Click “Create Post”
From your Pollen dashboard, click the purple “Create Post” button in the upper left-hand corner.
Step 2: Upload Your Media (Photos/Videos)
You can:

Drag and drop images or videos into the Upload Media box

Or click Upload Media to select content from your computer or camera roll
Step 3. Select channels
Once you uploaded your content, pick the channels that you want to send your post to. You can edit these any time before you publish your post.
Step 4. Add a Caption to the Post Body
Enter your caption in the Post Body section. This is the main text that will appear with your media.
Step 5. Add Hashtags
Type or select relevant hashtags to improve discoverability and engagement.
Step 6: Save, Schedule, or Publish
Once your post is ready:

Save as Draft if you’re not ready to publish

Schedule Post to choose a future date and time (you can set custom times per platform)

Publish Now to send your post live immediately
Additional Options & Features
Per-channel editing
Tabs will appear here as you select channels. Pick a tab to customize your post for that channel. Some channels will have their own required fields, like video titles, which will be flagged on the channels icon.
Schedule Per Channel
Turn on scheduling to pick a time in the future for your post to publish. Once you set a global time, you can also customize times for your post to publish to each channel.
Pollen label
This is a short way to refer to your post to make it easy for other Pollen users to understand what it’s about. This label won’t display on your channels when your post is published.

Campaign Suite:
Select the campaign your post will be linked to. This ensures your post is correctly associated and reaches the intended audience.
Hashtags
Type or select your preferred hashtag to help reach a wider audience on your channels. This ensures better visibility and engagement for your content.
Pro Tip
Before publishing, always review per-platform previews to make sure your post looks exactly how you want it to appear.
