Why Aren’t My Analytics Working Properly in Pollen?

If your analytics aren’t displaying as expected in Pollen, don’t worry—it’s usually a quick fix. Below are some common reasons your data might not be showing correctly, along with easy steps to get things back on track.

1. Data Sync Delay

Analytics may take a few moments to populate after a post is published or updated.

What to do:
Refresh the page after a few minutes to allow data to sync fully.


2. Social Media API Limitations

Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok have strict API policies that may restrict certain metrics from being pulled in.

What to do:
Ensure all social media accounts are properly connected. Try disconnecting and reconnecting them within Pollen.


3. Permissions Issue

If Pollen doesn’t have the correct permissions for your accounts, it won’t be able to pull data.

What to do:
Go to Settings → Social Accounts and make sure all required permissions are granted.
If needed, reauthorize your account connection.


4. Outdated or Disconnected Accounts

If an account is no longer active or linked incorrectly, analytics won't update properly.

What to do:
Visit the Channels tab and reconnect your accounts.
If you use Instagram, confirm your Facebook Business Page is correctly linked to your Instagram account.


5. API Metric Changes

Occasionally, social platforms update their APIs and remove access to certain metrics.

What to do:
If you suspect this might be the case, contact Pollen Support for confirmation and guidance.


6. Browser or Cache Issues

Sometimes, stored cache or browser issues can cause analytics data not to load correctly.

What to do:
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
Try accessing Pollen in an Incognito/Private window to see if the analytics load correctly.
