What is an Organization?

An Organization is the highest level in Pollen’s hierarchy. Think of it as the umbrella that groups together multiple related Companies. Organizations are perfect for:

  • Agencies managing several clients

  • Franchise owners with multiple locations

  • Corporations with multiple brands or departments

While an Organization provides top-level oversight, it does not manage individual workspaces or billing directly.

What is a Company?

A Company lives within an Organization and serves as the actual workspace where all activity takes place. This is where your team connects social channels, schedules content, views analytics, manages users, and handles subscription billing.

Each Company operates independently within its Organization, with its own:

  • User list

  • Connected channels

  • Content calendar

  • Billing and subscription plan

What Access Do Organization Admins Have?

Organization Admins have full access to all Companies under their Organization. This allows for broader visibility across multiple brands or locations without needing to log in and out of each one. Admins can:

  • Jump between Companies

  • Add or remove users at the Organization level

  • Oversee overall activity and settings

This setup is ideal for groups managing multiple business units who need centralized oversight but decentralized execution.
