Understanding Analytics Data on Pollen's Performance Screen

Pollen pulls key analytics from Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to display in your Performance screen. These insights help you track how your content is performing across platforms. Below is a breakdown of each metric we collect:

Facebook Analytics (Last 28 Days)

  1. Impressions
The total number of times your Facebook posts were displayed on a user's screen. Impressions count multiple views by the same user.
  2. New Page Likes
The number of new users who have liked your Facebook page during the reporting period. This indicates page growth and audience interest.
  3. Engagements
The total number of interactions with your Facebook posts, including likes, comments, shares, and clicks. This measures how actively people are interacting with your content.

Instagram Analytics (Last 28 Days)

  1. Total Followers
The number of people who currently follow your Instagram account. This reflects your page’s audience size and helps track growth over time.
  2. Likes
The number of times users liked your posts. Likes are a basic form of engagement and can indicate how well your content resonates with your audience.
  3. Shares
The number of times users shared your content with others via direct message or story reposts. Shares are a strong signal that your content is seen as valuable or worth spreading.
  4. Views
The number of times your videos (reels, stories, or video posts) were viewed. Multiple views by the same user are counted.
  5. Reach
The total number of unique users who saw any of your Instagram content. Reach helps you understand how far your content is spreading.
  6. Interactions
The total number of actions users took on your content (likes, comments, shares, saves, etc.). This metric gives a broader picture of engagement.
  7. Profile Link Taps (Bio Link Clicks)
The number of times users tapped the external link in your Instagram bio. This is a key indicator of how effectively your content drives traffic to your website or landing page.

LinkedIn Analytics (Last 28 Days)

  1. Impressions
The number of times your LinkedIn posts appeared on someone's feed or page. Multiple views by the same user are counted.
  2. Engagements
Total interactions with your LinkedIn posts, including clicks, likes, comments, and shares. Engagements are a good indicator of content relevance and audience interest.
  3. Likes
The number of "likes" your LinkedIn posts received. Likes contribute to your overall engagement metric but are also tracked separately.
  4. Shares
The number of times your LinkedIn posts were shared by others. Shares extend your content's reach to a broader network.

Tracking these data points through Pollen allows you to easily monitor your social media success and optimize your content strategy over time.
