Pollen Tutorial: How to Create & Manage Custom Fields
Pollen’s customizable fields feature allows you to create and manage your own custom fields within the Audience section, making contact management more intuitive and tailored to your needs.
There are two ways to create and manage custom fields within Pollen.
Option 1: Add New or Archive Custom Fields from the Audience Section

Navigate to the Audience tab and select Contacts.

On the Contacts page, you’ll see three options in the top left: Import CSV, Quick Add, and Manage Fields.

Click Manage Fields to open the Manage Custom Fields page.
From there, you can view all previously created custom fields, add new ones, or archive existing fields. These custom fields will appear on each contact’s profile card once created.
Option 2: Add Custom Fields During the Import Process for CSV files.
1. Navigate to the Audience tab and select Imports & Exports from the drop-down menu.
2. On the Imports & Exports page, choose one of the four available options to import your data:

Import from File (CSV)

MailChimp
-
Constant Contact
-
Import from VCF File
3. Click Start Import to begin. You’ll be taken to the Import Contacts page, where you can upload your CSV file.
4. After the file uploads successfully, click Match Fields to review and map your CSV columns to Pollen’s contact fields—including any custom fields you’d like to create.
