How Do I Create a Collection of Hashtags?

Hashtag collections help you save and reuse groups of hashtags across your content. Instead of typing out the same list every time you post, you can store them in Pollen and apply them with a single click. Here’s how to create your own hashtag collection:

Step-by-Step: Creating a Hashtag Collection

  1. Start a New Post

    From your Pollen dashboard, click the “Create Post” button in the top-left corner.

  2. Upload Your Media

    Drag and drop your image or video file into the media upload section, or click to browse and select from your device.

  3. Select Your Channels

    Under the “Channels” section, choose which platforms you'd like to post to. You can select one, a few, or all channels depending on your goals for the post.

  4. Open the Hashtag Collections Tab

    Scroll below the post body and click the “Collections” button. This opens your Hashtag Library, where you can view saved collections or create a new one.

  5. Click “+ to Create Collection”

    In the top-right corner of the Hashtag Library, click “Create Collection.”

  6. Name Your Collection

    A prompt will appear asking you to name your collection. Choose something memorable and descriptive; like “Product Launch,” “Summer Campaign,” or “Evergreen Hashtags.”

  7. Add Hashtags to the Collection

    In the Hashtags field, begin typing your hashtags and press enter after each one to add them to the group.

  8. Save the Collection

    Once you’ve finished adding hashtags, click “Save Collection.”
    Your new set will now appear in your Hashtag Library and can be applied to any future post with one click.

    You can apply multiple collections to the same post or mix and match based on the channel you’re posting to. This is great for A/B testing hashtag performance across different audiences or campaigns.
