Email Templates: How to Create, Customize & Send Emails in Pollen
Pollen’s Email Templates feature makes it easy to design and send professional-looking emails. This guide walks you through how to use both our pre-built templates, so you can get your email campaigns up and running in just a few clicks.
🛠 Where to Find Email Templates in Pollen
To get started:

Log in to Pollen

From the left-hand menu, locate the Posts section

Click Email Templates
From here, you’ll have two options:
- Use a Pollen Template (visual editor, no coding needed)
- HTML Editor (build or paste your own custom email template)
✨ Option 1: Use a Pollen Template
Pollen offers five professionally designed, ready-to-go templates:
- Newsletter with Feature Lists
- Newsletter with Alternating List + Columns
- Product Features
- Short Update with Images
- Short Update with Large Features
1. Global Settings:
This section controls the overall structure and appearance of your email:
- Template name – Give it a name for future use
- Background color
- Browser link text color
- Link color
- Footer background + text
You can enter your exact brand hex codes. You can also save up to four brand colors in your company settings.

2. Template Content
This is where you’ll customize the actual content of your email:
- Swap out text and images
- Edit background color and section formatting
- Add buttons with clickable links
- Hide any section using the 👁️
📝 Note: To edit text, use the panel on the left-hand side. The preview on the right is for display only. Scroll through the editor, expand the relevant block, and make your changes there.
🔒 Fonts and font sizes are pre-set in our templates for consistent formatting across devices.
💾 Saving Your Template
Once you've finished customizing your email template:

Double-check your Global Settings and Template Content for accuracy

Click the Save Template button in the bottom-right corner of the screen
Your template will now be saved to your account and available for reuse at any time. You can access it again from the Email Templates dashboard under the "Saved Templates" section.

For users who want full design control, Pollen's HTML Editor allows you to build a custom email template from scratch or import one from another source.
This is ideal for:
- Custom-branded emails
- Dev or design teams managing advanced layouts
- Integrating complex styling or interactive elements
